COVID-19 has highlighted the importance of ventilating and monitoring indoor air quality; we’re constantly advised to open windows several times a day!
However, in office buildings, meeting rooms, theaters, movie theaters, museums, exhibition halls, and other such spaces, we can’t open the windows—or in some cases, there simply aren’t any windows at all!
In these spaces, air-handling units supply the minimum amount of outdoor air based on occupancy levels.
These same units continuously recirculate the air to maintain the temperature in these spaces, thereby recirculating and spreading bacteria, viruses, and other VOCs.
By integrating air decontamination modules into these units, Photoclean can continuously decontaminate the recirculated air and prevent the spread of contaminants throughout all rooms.
